IoT (Internet of Things)

In the EV charging ecosystem, IoT refers to the integration of connected devices, sensors, and communication technologies within charging infrastructure, enabling chargers to communicate with cloud-based systems over the internet. These smart, connected chargers continuously collect and transmit real-time data, such as charging status, energy consumption, session details, temperature, and fault conditions.

By leveraging IoT, EV charging systems become intelligent and data-driven. Each charger is equipped with embedded sensors and communication modules that allow it to send and receive information through secure internet protocols. This enables seamless interaction between the physical charging hardware and centralized management platforms.

One of the key advantages of IoT is remote monitoring and control.
